Before you start, check you fit

  • A backup transportation plan is required because flights may be canceled or unmatched.
  • The passenger must be medically stable, ambulatory, and able to sit upright and board a small aircraft.
  • A pilot may not be secured until shortly before departure.

After you send

Respond to staff requests; after pilot assignment, coordinate directly with the pilot and retain a backup plan. If you have not heard back in two weeks, write and ask whether it arrived.
