Find help for your family

Programs run by charities and foundations: money, rides, a place to stay, someone to talk to. I tried to subjectively rank the results so you see the ones that might be worth your time first. This was just a website search and I made some educated guesses. Oh also, your answers stay in this browser.

Medicaid, SSI, CHIP and other government programs are not in this list. They have their own page: Government help.

Some programs only take requests from a hospital social worker. A doctor's signature alone does not count.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation Resource Navigator can help a childhood-cancer family identify programs based on its needs and location.
Childhood Cancer Hub Hope Portal is a filterable directory maintained through the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer. Treat each listing as a lead and recheck it with the organization named.
Ronald McDonald House Resource Link collects pediatric-cancer resources, including a financial-support category. It is a directory, not the grant provider.
Cosmic Cassy is an independent childhood-cancer resource directory with English and Spanish content. Confirm every program on its official site before applying.
Kids’ Waivers summarizes Medicaid waivers, Katie Beckett/TEFRA pathways, and paid-caregiving information by state. It is not a government site; use it to find the name of a program, then verify and apply through the official state Medicaid agency.
