Before you start, check you fit
- Your child is 17 or under.
- The Care Team checks whether it can meet your child's care needs before arranging a stay.
- Your child's physician needs to sign and date the admission orders within 24 hours of each respite stay.

What they’ll send next
- Call the Care Team for individual qualification review.
- After qualification, prepare the current order packet and give it to the child's primary physician or practitioner.
- The physician or practitioner completes all clinical orders and signs.
After the call
Confirm receipt and booking with the Care Team; the Clinical Nurse Liaison reviews orders 1–2 weeks before the stay. If you have not heard back by then, write and ask.
