Idaho's Children's Special Health Program helps uninsured children with certain long-term conditions.

This program can pay for certain approved services and offer care coordination. It has a limited condition list and major gaps for cancer treatment. The program needs to answer whether your child's condition qualifies before you rely on it.

Eligibility rules
  • The program serves children under 18 who are generally uninsured.
  • Insured-child exceptions include cystic fibrosis and phenylketonuria (PKU). Cancer and leukemia are not general diagnoses on the published list.
