The clinic pharmacist can name the drug, get the plan's monthly price and point you to drug-maker assistance.

Other details
- Effective June 30, 2026, HB856 removes the expiration date from Mississippi’s existing advanced-metastatic-cancer step-therapy protections; it is not a new oral-chemotherapy price cap. The treating oncologist and plan must establish whether the diagnosis and drug meet the law’s terms. Childhood leukemia, relapse or transplant should not automatically be labeled stage-four metastatic cancer for this purpose.
