WIC may help a child under five or an eligible pregnant, breastfeeding or postpartum person. Medicaid, SNAP or TANF can establish income eligibility. The clinic still checks the participant category and nutrition requirements.
Eligibility rules
- Children must be under five. Pregnant and eligible postpartum parents can also qualify.
- From June 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, monthly screens are $3,337 for two, $4,212 for three, $5,088 for four, $5,964 for five and $6,839 for six.
- Participation in Medicaid, SNAP or TANF establishes income eligibility under the federal WIC rule.
