What it is

Money for food each month on an ACCESS Oklahoma card.

A drop in pay can open grocery help during treatment. Oklahoma checks this month's income against the line, then takes rent, utilities and child care off before setting the amount.

Eligibility rules
  • The ordinary gross screen is 130% of poverty, with a separate net-income test where required. Households with an elderly or disabled member and categorically eligible households can follow different rules; being above this first screen is not a final refusal.
  • For October 1, 2025 through September 2026, gross monthly limits are: two people $2,292; three $2,888; four $3,483; five $4,079; six $4,675.
  • Savings must be under $3,000, or $4,500 if someone in the household is over 60 or disabled. The home and usually a car do not count.
  • DHS can check categorical eligibility, including its 2-1-1 and TANF/SSI-related provisions. It also checks the rules for households with an elderly or disabled member. DHS must confirm any current 2-1-1 entry ceiling; being above the ordinary gross screen is not a final refusal.

Good to know

SNAP counts the household its own way, and savings over $3,000 can block it. Being under or over the SoonerCare line says nothing about SNAP.
