B-ALL is in scope. All cancer diagnoses are accepted subject to survivor and treatment-status rules; B-ALL is not excluded.

  • Complete response/remission or NED qualifies.
  • Partial response or stable disease requires one year since active treatment.
  • Long-term hormonal, targeted, or immunotherapy may qualify if remission criteria are met.
  • Active chemotherapy or radiation is ineligible.
  • Applicant must not be a tax dependent on the most recent tax filing.
  • Applicant must not have received a SAMFund grant in the prior cycle and may not have received two or more SAMFund grants.

Financial need is required.

  • Application reviews income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and financial impact; no fixed threshold is published.
  • Applicant cannot be a tax dependent for the most recent filing year.
