Support organization

Above + Beyond Cancer

Above + Beyond Cancer supports the mind, body, and spirit of people affected by cancer through Iowa lodging, in-person and virtual wellness, coaching, groups, education, and adult journeys. Its Hotel Program may arrange limited Sunday-through-Thursday rooms for patients traveling to physician-approved outpatient cancer treatment in Iowa, with a five-business-day lead time and unresolved distance and complimentary-versus-discounted wording. Central Iowa and Clinton programs offer movement, mindfulness, nutrition, arts, and education, while separate medical-referral scholarships provide 12 weeks of fitness-facility access. Caregivers can use many general programs, although the dedicated Caregiver Connections form is currently closed and no future meeting is posted. Young-adult activities are limited to survivors ages 18–40, and the annual Transformational Journey is adult-only; no general minor-participation rule is published for wellness classes.
