Children's Cancer Partners of the Carolinas provides continuous practical and navigation support to North and South Carolina families after a child or youth is diagnosed with cancer. A parent, friend, physician, or social worker may start the live public referral, but treatment-center verification or referral remains part of access; a Family Navigator contacts the family within the published one-to-two-business-day range. Core help can include travel reimbursement, airfare or train fares, taxis, parking, lodging, meals away from home, prescribed diets, critical home-care needs, and emergency housing or utility help regardless of income. Support starts for children birth through age 18 and continues through the 21st birthday, even when treatment occurs outside the Carolinas. Separate records cover monthly events, Holiday Spectacular, Camp Victory, bereavement Camp Rachel, funeral and memorial help, and an in-kind essentials closet.
