Children's Flight of Hope provides free commercial airline travel for children age 18 or younger who need specialized life-saving, life-changing, or life-sustaining care and whose families cannot afford the flight without significant hardship. New families may apply directly and must provide annual medical clearance and financial verification; the published benefit is exactly two tickets for the child and one authorized adult companion. A distinct, highly limited private-flight route requires medical necessity, a doctor's statement that commercial flight is unsafe, at least one month's notice, and Medical Advisory Team review. The 2025 Impact Report also describes a care package mailed to each newly accepted family, although 2026 continuation and contents are unpublished. English and Spanish informational pages are available, but several Spanish application and procedural surfaces remain partly in English.
