Cindy's Legacy is an all-volunteer virtual nonprofit helping cancer patients in financial distress. Its one-time Financial Aid Program provides gift cards for prescriptions, utilities, transportation, lodging, groceries, medical supplies, and other daily or medical necessities, with a primary focus on Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC. A separate program funds Kits to Heart care packages for approved patients. Both financial-aid and care-package intake are temporarily on hold because of an application backlog, while direct referrals from medical and patient-service providers in the focus area continue to receive priority. The organization also publishes a downloadable Cancer Resources and Referrals directory whose outside listings require current verification.

A public two-page PDF and Services hub compile outside financial, navigation, emotional, peer, legal, clinical-trial, transportation, housecleaning, and diagnosis-specific support leads.
