Craig Willinger Fund grants domestic or international soccer dream trips to selected cancer-affected soccer fans ages 10–25. The benefit covers airfare for the honoree and one guest, double-occupancy hotel lodging, match tickets, and some spending money; a minor’s guest is a parent. Applicants request the full packet through the public name-and-email form, complete a general application, medical eligibility form, and release, and obtain physician certification that they are fit to travel. The board reviews completed applications quarterly on a first-come basis, but awards are selective, limited, and dependent on funding and the applicant queue. Passports, visas, and other travel documents are the traveler’s responsibility, and exact residence, treatment-status, and additional covered-cost rules are not published.
