Footprints of Fight

Footprints of Fight provides free practical support to families whose child age 19 or younger is in active pediatric-cancer treatment, either while treated in Washington or while a Washington family travels out of state for treatment. A live public form lets a parent, caregiver, or third party request gas, groceries, landscaping, housekeeping, carpet cleaning, a one-year AAA membership, monthly family dinner-and-movie help, restaurant meal delivery, and a Footprints T-shirt. A doctor or social worker must complete a separate verification form, and the organization says families should normally hear back within two weeks, although the current form warns of high application volume. The same intake can obtain consent for referrals to three outside family programs, represented separately because Footprints only makes the handoff. Benefit values, cadence, territory, capacity, and whether every selected service is provided are not published.
