Foundation of Onvida Health

The Foundation of Onvida Health is a separate nonprofit that funds cancer and children’s-health initiatives for the Yuma community. Its Pediatric Oncology Support Fund can pay up to $2,500 annually toward hardship caused by a child’s cancer, using a public family application with provider or social-worker verification and direct creditor information. Foundation-supported Cancer Resource Center services provide free blankets and treatment-comfort items, monthly gas certificates, and provider-approved liquid nutrition for children and adults undergoing cancer treatment. The Foundation and AdvoKATE Foundation also host the free Go Gold Childhood Cancer Awareness Walk on August 29, 2026 for patients, loved ones, remembrance, and community resources. Hospital-owned navigation, spiritual care, survivorship, clinical and billing services remain outside this Foundation bundle because the site does not attribute them to the Foundation.
