HopeKids provides recurring free events and community for children with cancer or another qualifying life-threatening condition and their families. Registered families receive invitations to larger HopeDay outings, smaller HopeCommunity gatherings, and virtual activities that can be joined from home or a hospital room. HopeKids also offers selected registered families travel-supported retreats and experience weekends with their own dates and eligibility rules. A parent or guardian starts the public application, after which HopeKids consults the treating physician and aims to send follow-up within four weeks. In-person programming is organized through eight U.S. chapters, while current official material describes virtual programming as available nationwide.
