Landon’s Light Foundation

Landon’s Light Foundation supports children age 18 or younger with malignant cancer or another critical condition that is progressive or deteriorating. A child may qualify by living within 75 miles of Fargo–Moorhead–West Fargo or by current or prior treatment at Roger Maris Cancer Center, Sanford Medical Center–Fargo, or Essentia Health–Fargo, so the treatment-center route is not limited to North Dakota or Minnesota residents. The live referral portal accepts referrals from parents, guardians, family, friends, or medical professionals for a personalized Miracle Moment valued up to $2,000, such as a family outing, room makeover, shopping experience, or device. A separate Financial Assistance benefit pays one submitted bill directly to the vendor up to $750, but the portal's initial screen does not show how the bill is collected. Both benefits remain discretionary, and Miracle Moment recipients must accept a nonoptional media-use acknowledgement in the portal.
