Partner-hospital staff can refer an urgent medical-crisis need for rent, utilities, food, travel, lodging, equipment, funeral, prescription, or other treatment-related help, sometimes with same-day assistance. The foundation also funds hospital-distributed comfort and treatment-coping items, sibling and bereavement support, NICU caregiver support, and bone-marrow-transplant discharge bags. Hope for the Holidays is a separate seasonal referral program for families facing a new diagnosis, relapse, or unexpected holiday hospitalization. Most component-level schedules, unit availability, and language access are not publicly specified, so hospital staff remain the essential access route.
