Meagan's Way Foundation provides temporary household-expense help to Michigan residents when the applicant or the applicant's minor child has cancer, including treatment completed within the previous 12 months. The main program can address housing, utilities, transportation, insurance premiums, food, durable equipment, and prescribed home modifications, but excludes medical bills, copays, prescriptions, and deductibles. A separate discretionary branch may help minors and families with minor children with medically necessary travel or lodging, tutoring and school costs, clothing, or a special experience when the listed household assistance is not needed. Families start with the public inquiry form; eligible applicants receive a formal application whose medical sections must be completed by a professional. Funding is limited, and no award ceiling is published.
