Strong Little Souls

Strong Little Souls provides four distinct forms of support for children and young adults affected by cancer. Its national Care Package Program sends customized toys and activities to eligible children, while Sunshine in a Box is tailored to people diagnosed at ages 16–25 and has a shorter post-treatment window. In nine Northeastern states, the SLS Wish Program fulfills memory-making wishes and Financial Support may help with gas, groceries, utilities, transportation, cell-phone costs, medical copayments, and other critical expenses. Care Package, Wish, and Financial Support applications were publicly live on the research date and require diagnosis documentation and hospital or social-worker information. Sunshine in a Box's request route was not publicly accessible, and current values, timing, repeat-use rules, and language help are not published.
