A pediatric B-ALL patient may be considered because the medical-mission page expressly lists cancer, but the patient must be medically stable, ambulatory, able to sit upright in a small aircraft, and cleared by a physician or social worker. A qualifying flight must be at least 200 and less than 1,000 miles, while a normal single leg is approximately 150–250 miles and longer trips may require linked aircraft. The family should request a mission at least five business days ahead and provide medical clearance, passenger details, a liability release, and photo identification.
