Wichita Cancer Foundation pays primary health-insurance premiums directly to the carrier for a person with cancer whose care is initiated or received in Kansas. Published rules require U.S. citizenship or permanent residence, adjusted gross income at or below 500% of the federal poverty level, and private, employer-sponsored, or COBRA coverage; Medicare and Medicaid recipients are excluded. One application can cover no more than six months, with the duration set by the Care Committee and available funds. The patient or an applicable legal representative or guardian applies through the live online form and must provide proof of insurance and evidence of premium cost before review.
