    What to bring to the meeting

    • Your child’s diagnosis, the hospital’s name, and what you need help with.

    What happens next

    • Obtain the Emergency Financial Assistance application and New Family Form from the social worker.
    • The hospital social worker or hospital medical staff member submits the request on your behalf.
    • Confirm the request status through the submitting hospital professional; approved funds are paid directly to the institution or business.

After your social worker sends it

The family should follow up with the submitting professional for status. They don’t publish how long a decision takes.
