Family House provides affordable lodging and a support network for patients and families traveling to Pittsburgh for medically related care, including pediatric cancer treatment. Guests can reserve directly, and there is no strict distance or Pennsylvania-residence gate, but every patient needs an adult caregiver throughout the stay and rooms remain subject to availability. Current lodging rates took effect August 1, 2026, while a separate Family Assistance Program offers length-of-stay and income-based room discounts. Guests also receive daily breakfast, scheduled hospital transportation, pantry access, caregiver groups, wellness and community activities, and other on-site amenities. A temporary Weekend Together discount runs through August 2026, with its exact final date unpublished.
