HealthWell Foundation helps insured people meet cost shares and related expenses through disease-specific funds whose status can open or close without a published calendar. For a pediatric B-ALL family, the Pediatric Assistance Fund expressly covers Acute Lymphoid Leukemia but is currently closed to new patients; existing grants remain usable through their 12-month cycle or award exhaustion. An open caregiver behavioral-health fund may help an insured live-in caregiver when the child already has an active HealthWell oncology grant, and an open Cancer Home Care Services Fund may help qualifying current or former oncology grantees with home health or durable medical equipment. Patient behavioral-health and general travel funds are currently closed to new patients. HealthWell also publishes caregiving, navigation, directory, alert, mobile-app, brochure, and grant-management resources; families should check live fund status and never assume a reopening date.
