Support organization
Washington's Health Care Authority uses county transportation brokers to arrange nonemergency travel for clients with Apple Health or another state medical-assistance program that includes transportation. The client must have a current ProviderOne services card, have no other way to reach the appointment, and be traveling to a service covered by the client's program. Available modes commonly include public bus, taxi, wheelchair van, airplane, gas vouchers, ferry tickets, and vehicle-mileage reimbursement. Contact the broker for the client's county 7–14 days before the appointment when possible; travel outside the local community requires broker approval, and a request made less than two business days ahead may not be schedulable.
Provides the family assistance described in the organization's verified program pages.
